ROTARY CLUB OF BAGLUNG: Baglung, Dhaulagiri, Nepal; Rotary International is a volunteer organizations of business and professional leaders who provide humanitarian service, and help to build goodwill and peace in the world. There are approximately 1.2 million Rotary club members belonging to more than 33,000 Rotary clubs in nearly 207 countries. Founded in Chicago in 1905, Rotary celebrated 100 years of service in 2005. the Rotary Foundation has awarded more than US$1.6 billion in grants, which are administered at the local level. The first Rotary club in Nepal- Rotary Club of Kathmandu was estblished and inaugrated in Nov. 20, 1958. Now Nepal has a separate and independent Rotary International District 3292 from July 1, 2008 to this date, Nepal has 67 Rotary clubs with about 2000 members. The first Rotary club in Baglung- Rotary Club of Baglung was started in Oct.11, 2006.
